- The old Dairy Queen has sold, got a new roof and a new restaurant run by the Ennis school teachers is scheduled to open in that location, as the Ennis Sugar High!
- The Buckboard Mercantile building has sold and looks like it will continue doing business as an antique mall.
- The former Subway Sandwich shop sold to a couple who plan to open Willie's Distillery and Tasting Room. Now that should be fun!
- The old Bowling Alley/General Store, etc. has sold and is supposed to be renovated and reopening as a bowling alley! Maybe bowling is coming back as an "in thing" to do!
- Madison Valley Lumber was purchased by a lumber company in Dillon and will be reopening. The new name is not yet public.
- The Corral Creek Coffee Company sold to Jamie Schaufler and is still alive and doing well.
- Rumor has it the Town of Cameron has sold to two couples from South Carolina and will be reopening. So we'll have more fun times at the Blue Moon Saloon!
Ennis is a "happening" place and that is the theme of the Fourth of July Ennis Rodeo Parade this year, along with celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Homestead Act, which built the west. Be there or be square!
